Hi, I’m Johannes.
I’m currently studying Human Computer Interaction at LMU Munich, after doing my Bachelor’s in Media Informatics at the University of Tübingen. I’ve worked with companies like Marquardt, Mercedes Benz and OBE Holding, where I got hands on experience in UI and UX design, user research, augmented reality and frontend development.
I also placed 3rd overall at the Figma Makeathon 2025 powered by Figma and Contra.
What I enjoy most is thinking through products from scratch, figuring out how they should work, and then bringing them to life through design.
Make distance feel smaller by turning flights into moments of connection through digital messages and physical surprises.
Micro breaks in creative worlds designed for quick mental resets when there is no time for a walk or when the weather does not cooperate.
Plan That Trip is an AI powered group travel planning concept that placed third in the Figma × Contra Make a thon. It collects individual travel preferences and uses AI to suggest an optimal destination and timing. The full experience was designed in Figma and prototyped in Figma Make, including detailed interactions and motion.
Further Challenges
Created an Apple Watch Health Feature Library in MagicPath, winning $500 among 800+ participants.
Built Eventme, placing 5th and winning $500 among 1,500+ participants in the global Anything Challenge.
Three mobile app concepts exploring new interaction models for discovery, social connection, and privacy. The projects investigate multi dimensional preference mapping, maps as emotional interfaces, and privacy aware design for spontaneous social encounters.
More Projects
A reimagined flight search using a timeline slider to explore flexible travel dates visually, without fixed calendars or exact dates.

Readability Graphs
A university project exploring how LLMs can analyze and visualize text readability, helping users understand complexity, structure, and clarity at a glance.

Sustainability at MIMplus
Sustainability as part of a corporate website concept exploration for MIMplus Technologies GmbH & Co. KG.

I’ll do it later..
A prototype that analyzes whether a planned activity such as a trip or a meeting should be postponed or done now helping users make clearer decisions.

Medical first-guidance app
A Figma prototype designed to provide accessible medical first guidance for people with visual impairments, motor limitations, and older, less tech-experienced users. The interface strictly follows WCAG guidelines, including high color contrast, readable font sizes and typefaces, generous spacing, and large, clearly distinguishable touch targets. All interactions are intentionally simple and predictable to reduce cognitive load and ensure calm, reliable access to medical information.
